What SWITCHengines does

SWITCHengines provides compute and storage services in the form of virtual machines to researchers, lecturers and IT-services of Swiss universities and related institutions.

SWITCHengines was created to expand the boundaries of local infrastructures for research, education and IT-services under maximal considerations of your needs.

What 200ok does for SWITCHengines

We support SWITCHengines by building software solutions on top of their cloud platform (which is based on OpenStack) which they can use for improved administration, support or customer self service.

Modules which we built include:

• OpenStack Image Sharing (to a group of people).

• Administration of access control for S3 Ceph.

• Long Term Storage (10 years guaranteed access to your data!) including end user onboarding, provisioning and managing access requests.
